Siemens Digital Industries Software Software Engineer interview experience

I remember needing creativity to answer certain questions, and it pushed me to be confident in how I explained my reasoning. The topics weren’t just pure programming—there were questions that touched on personal psychology as well.

A big theme was that they wanted to be certain about what they were hiring for and why they were hiring me. Technically, I also got asked questions meant to validate my understanding, not just to hear what I had worked on before. Overall it felt like they were trying to truly understand my motivations and how I think, and that made the whole thing intense.
