My phone screen was pretty straightforward, and it mostly focused on standard HR-style questions and introductions.

They asked things like why I was interested, whether I knew what the company does, and whether I preferred in-person or an onsite internship.

The only major issue was logistical: the interviewer messed up the interview date, and I ended up losing the chance to meet the hiring manager. Since that key meeting didn’t happen, the process basically ended there for me.

Because it was more of a scheduling failure than anything technical, I didn’t move forward. What surprised me was how quickly it all fell apart even though the conversation itself was normal.
