San Francisco, CAPosted Apr 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

For the Platform Labs track, the process surprised me with how few interviews were available, but the rounds that did happen were layered.

After speaking with the recruiter, I had a meet-and-greet with the hiring manager and a senior engineer. Then I went into a technical screen that was mostly pseudocode.

After that, there was a systems design interview, and finally I spoke with an executive. Even though the interviews were described as informal, they didn’t feel easy. We dug into the pros and cons of different implementation options, and the interviewers came across as genuinely sharp, not just there to go through motions.

I didn’t end up being a match in the end, but I walked away feeling good about the experience itself.
