My interviews asked some very tough questions, including something like a LeetCode hard problem and advanced Java questions.

What stood out was that it didn’t lean into automation-engineering technologies at all the way I expected given the broader QA/automation context.

The process felt different from what I’d experienced in other interviews tied to the technologies I’d worked with most. Overall it was intense and didn’t match my assumptions about the focus areas.

I didn’t get an offer, and I kept feeling like the evaluation criteria were shifted toward harder Java and algorithmic problem solving rather than the automation tools side.
