My interview was very difficult and it leaned into a mix of coding, SQL, and a task that felt closer to prompt engineering.

In the coding portion, I was asked two questions: one involving bit manipulation and another involving graphs.

The next section focused on SQL and included a very advanced problem that took a lot of time and careful reasoning. The final part was a prompt-engineering task, and that was the only segment where I managed to get full test-case passes.

Even with that win, I didn’t receive an offer. What I’d say honestly is that the SQL and the broader coding difficulty outweighed everything else, so the process still ended up feeling brutal despite me performing best on the last
