The first step was a recruiter call where we talked through the role, benefits, pay, and how my skills fit what they were looking for.

It was pretty straightforward, and the recruiter was friendly and went into a lot of detail.

After that, I met with the head of IT. That conversation felt productive and transparent—he was clear about what expectations looked like, and he also spoke to the company’s growth trajectory in a way that made the role feel grounded rather than vague.

I didn’t end up with an offer, but I left the process with a positive impression because the communication felt clear and the interviewers seemed focused on matching expectations on both sides.
