San Jose, CAPosted Jun 2015 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interview started with a technical phone call, followed by two or three additional technical interviews.

The first round was very resume-driven: the interviewer walked through my projects and asked about the technologies I used.

What I found most important was that they didn’t just want to hear the list of tools. They asked why I chose a particular technology in the context of what I was building, along with other questions tied to the technologies mentioned on my resume.

It felt difficult in the sense that I had to be specific and able to justify decisions, not just describe what I’d done. Overall, it was a technically focused process that mapped directly to my documented experience.
