After I applied and got shortlisted, I ended up on a preliminary recruiter-style call that felt more like an eligibility/fit check than a deep interview.

About a week later, I had the main round with branch managers—one of the people I spoke with was also the team manager—so the conversation was very focused on what they were looking for. The whole thing lasted roughly an hour and, thankfully, there weren’t any further interviews after that.

Most of the discussion centered on my background and how I handled real situations: previous experience, customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving. They asked behavioural questions using a STAR-style structure, and I remember being prompted to explain why I wanted to work at the bank and what I knew
