Los Angeles, CAPosted Oct 2013 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had a quick recruiting flow (phone to onsite within about a week) that centered on fundamentals and then moved me into the evaluation stage.

Phone interview / scheduling — The hiring manager contacted me to set up a phone interview, and HR updated my profile the day before.
Phone screen (fundamentals, conversational) — I was asked about core fundamentals; questions were broken down and the interviewer was patient in explaining the approach.
Onsite — After the phone stage, I went onsite for further evaluation; the onsite included basic device/fundamental questions and a short behavior component. Outcome: No offer, but the process felt supportive and grounded in fundamentals rather than trickery.
