My experience was difficult mainly because of interviewer conduct, even though the format was a straightforward C-knowledge check.

C exam — I was given an exam assessing C knowledge, including pointers (including pointers to functions), bit operations, and similar fundamentals.
Answer review conversation (unprofessional) — When reviewing answers, the interviewer was visibly rude and distracted, even talking during the review in a way that felt inappropriate. Outcome: I didn’t get the offer; the takeaway was that interview quality and respect mattered just as much as the technical test.
