My process was on the heavier side, with a lot of layers: I went from an initial phone screen through several successive conversations with team leadership, including a culture interview at the end.

Everyone I spoke with was friendly, but I could tell the bar was high and that the process was competitive.

There wasn’t a single moment that felt unfair, it just felt cutthroat in the sense that there were many checkpoints and it would be hard to stand out without consistently performing well across rounds. I didn’t end up receiving an offer. Looking back, the hardest part wasn’t one difficult question—it was the cumulative pressure of having to pass through so many decision points while trying to keep my energy up.
