My journey never really got going the way I expected.

I first reached out through Handshake when a recruiter messaged me to apply, and once I applied, I got an invitation for a coding assessment with a two-week window. I started preparing and was about a week in when I got an email saying the position was filled and I was no longer being considered.

Separately, I also had a recruiter contact me right after I applied to schedule an interview, but then I never heard back. I ended up being ghosted completely, which meant I didn’t get a chance to speak with anyone.

In both situations, the process was over before it really became a real interview
