Roblox Software Engineer interview experience

The format felt polished and professional, with no real surprises.

The topics were basic data structures, and the main expectation was quality—getting to the best answers rather than just providing something that worked. Because it was more “foundational” than flashy, it made my performance feel directly tied to how well I could communicate my reasoning.

In the end, I didn’t get an offer, but the experience itself was straightforward and not chaotic. My takeaway was that they were screening for strong fundamentals and good interview quality, not just brute-force coding practice.
