Robinhood Software Engineer interview experience

The interviewer was engaged and nice, which helped keep the conversation constructive even as the work got tricky.

The problem itself was tough enough that I ran out of time at the end. What was most frustrating was the pacing: I felt like the allotted time didn’t leave enough room to both fully read through the prompt and still produce a complete, working solution.

I didn’t progress after that technical stage, and the rejection felt like it came down to timing more than effort.
