My process began with a recruiter call, then quickly moved into a technical screen.

In my case, the recruiter and the person running the technical portion were friendly and the vibe was supportive, which made it easier to stay calm and focus.

The technical screen itself was a coding-style assessment. I felt like I understood the problem and could get through the solution, but I ran into issues when the code was executed—errors showed up when I tried to run it end to end. I could tell right away that it wasn’t going to pass as cleanly as I’d hoped.

I didn’t progress beyond that technical stage, and what surprised me was how fast the rejection came after the interview ended.
