I interviewed for a Software Engineer role at Bosch Automotive Aftermarket and found the first steps low-friction and more conversational than technical over a couple of quick screen rounds.

Intro / recruiter or team chat — A friendly online conversation (including multiple interviewers in one session) where we introduced ourselves and I gave a self-introduction about my background.
Teams call (general) — A short Teams-based chat with the hiring manager/HR focusing on general fit and whether my English was fluent; the process felt like getting to know me rather than grilling fundamentals.

Outcome: I didn’t continue to later stages, but the overall feel was supportive and not technically intimidating early on.
