I experienced a more HR-heavy, role-fit interview path that felt easy but slow, with decisions driven by team alignment.

HR-led screen — A very HR-focused conversation where technical depth wasn’t the priority; I had to show I understood day-to-day work and basics like vehicle dynamics and ABS concepts.
Hiring manager / early interview — The first interview typically involved HR plus the hiring manager, centered on motivation and role understanding.

Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the key takeaway was that success depended more on team fit and role comprehension than on deep technical signaling.
