I made it to the final round, but I didn’t get an offer because of a location constraint.

The recruiter had described the role as remote, so when I reached the end and saw the constraint, it felt like a disconnect.

Before the final decision, I had to clear three technical rounds, so I had already invested a decent amount of time. In the end, the last hurdle wasn’t about how I performed in the loop.

I didn’t get an offer. The reflection I kept was that the process tested my ability in the technical parts, but still didn’t overcome the practical constraints they were bound by.
