San Francisco, CAPosted Nov 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed in San Francisco and the flow was simple on paper: first a phone screen, then the final round happened immediately.

Everyone I spoke with was nice, but the interview itself was the toughest I’d done, and most of that came down to my own lack of preparation.

The combination of being thrown into the final stage quickly and the difficulty of the questions made it hard to recover once I realized I wasn’t ready for the level they were expecting.

I didn’t get an offer. The honest takeaway from my side was that even though the people were pleasant, the bar was high enough that I couldn’t compensate for being underprepared.
