What threw me off most was how tight the timing felt versus how high the expectations were.

The problem itself wasn’t complex, but it required implementing every sub-requirement, which made the interview feel more like a breadth-and-detail check than a pure algorithm challenge.

I also noticed that AI tools could be used during the interview, which was surprising. Even so, I wasn’t able to finish successfully, and the whole thing felt overly demanding for how straightforward the core problem seemed.
