Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

A recruiter told me very clearly that they believed in LeetCode-style interviews, so I spent a weekend grinding those kinds of problems.

When the actual technical interview came, it didn’t match that expectation at all.

The technical part was more about defining a class and implementing some basic functions, but the interviewer didn’t do a good job explaining what they wanted. That made it harder to stay confident because I couldn’t easily map my LeetCode preparation to what was being evaluated.

I didn’t get an offer. The overall feeling was that the mismatch between what was promised and what showed up during the interview, combined with unclear communication, threw me off.
