My recruiter conversation felt surprisingly short, and then the technical rounds turned out to be much more complex than I expected.

I remember thinking the process left me with a lot of uncertainty about what they were truly looking for, and that the LeetCode “hard” level problems felt overkill for the role.

What made it harder wasn’t just the difficulty—it was the sheer number of rounds. I went through more than six interviews, and by the time I reached the later stages it felt like a chore to keep up the effort and attention.

I didn’t end up with an offer. The overall feeling was frustrating: the technical bar felt mismatched, and the length of the loop made it harder to stay confident throughout.
