I interviewed for a Consultant role in a long, values-focused journey that felt friendly but dragged on, with lots of fit-checking and limited technical discussion.

Early interviews — I experienced an extended set of conversations aimed at alignment with company values.
Multi-week cadence with multiple interviewers — I met multiple people, sometimes with one interviewer per week, over about six weeks.
Values-heavy questioning — Many questions centered on what I valued and how I fit their culture more than technical work. Outcome: No offer; I could see they took hiring seriously, but the length and uncertainty wore on me.
