I interviewed for a Consultant role with an in-depth sequence over roughly a month, and the emphasis was consistently on fit and company values.

Interview 1 — I met with a senior gallery leader in an in-depth discussion.
Interview 2 — I met with an associate leader and lead designer to continue assessing how I’d fit.
Interview 3 — I met the field leader as the final step in the chain.
Two-step process framing — Alongside this, I experienced a format split between “getting to know you” and then the role-specific discussions. Outcome: No offer; the path was thoughtful and friendly, but I didn’t move past the final stage.
