San Jose, CAPosted Feb 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interview was pretty good and stayed in the easy-to-manage lane.

Most of the questions were basics like start date, availability, and projects. Beyond that, they asked why Renesas, why I was a strong fit for the role, and what made them want to hire me.

It didn’t feel like there was a complicated technical gauntlet, and the tone stayed straightforward. The conversation helped me align my background to what the role seemed to need.

Overall it felt like a simple screening of motivation and fit, and I left feeling like I answered clearly without being put under unusual pressure. Even though I wasn’t offered the position, the experience didn’t feel hostile
