My journey started with phone screening that felt unprofessional or disengaged, followed by a short coding evaluation; overall it was an average-to-difficult experience where I didn’t get traction early.

HR/recruiter screen — In both cases, the initial call had a negative tone; I felt like the interviewer wasn’t listening closely and repeated points.
Coding sample / challenge — After the screen, I was asked to complete a coding-related task or sample. Outcome: I didn’t move forward; the takeaway was that communication quality during the recruiter phase seemed to heavily color the experience, even before technical evaluation.
