Chicago, ILPosted Jan 2016 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had a relatively straightforward, interview-day-heavy process with recruiter coordination up front and then a mix of design, technical, and behavioral evaluation.

Recruiter pre-screen — I first spoke with a recruiter before coming in.
Design interview (architect-level) — I was evaluated on system/design thinking.
Experience/manager interview — I discussed my experience and background with hiring leadership.
Technical interview(s) — I did hands-on technical questioning with engineers/devs.
Recruiter/general check-in — The day often ended with a general conversation. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer in these experiences; the takeaway was that even when the process feels friendly, the design round can be decisive.
