I found the HireVue video stage stressful because the questions weren’t tailored to my background and it made me hyperaware of every mistake.

Asynchronous video interview (HireVue) — I was invited immediately after applying to record answers to the same questions as other candidates; I had to manage timing, good internet for upload, and the mental load of reviewing what my interviewer would see.
No clear live follow-up — The account focused on the video platform experience as the main challenge, with no later round described. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer, and the takeaway was that the untailored, self-recorded format can significantly increase anxiety even when you’re qualified.
