I went through an easy, fundamentals-focused interview path for the Account Executive role, with basic qualifications and quick timing from application to decision.

Self video + in-person — I started with a short self video step, then moved to an in-person interview.
In-person with two managers — I answered mostly basic leadership and customer service questions.
Common fit questions — I discussed why I wanted REI and which store areas matched my experience and interests.
Availability and role expectations — In later conversations, availability questions came up.
Offer timing or constraints — I also encountered cases where only limited hours were possible. Outcome: In some cases I didn’t get the offer and in one timeline
