I experienced Ramp’s more complete, end-to-end process for the Software Engineer role, and it felt intensive but fair, spanning multiple technical rounds plus system design and behavior.

Technical problem with application — I started with a problem tied to the application.
Recruiter phone screen — I spoke with a recruiter.
Technical interviews (engineers) — I completed three technical interviews with engineers.
System design — I did a system design interview that was open ended.
Behavioral interview — I finished with a standard behavioral conversation. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer, and the takeaway was that the process was reasonable, even if the open-ended design round can be a swing factor.
