I applied online for the Software Engineer role and experienced an opaque, time-consuming early technical step with an outcome that felt predetermined.

Application + technical screening gate — Submitting the application required completing a technical screening that wasn’t extremely hard but was time-consuming.
Auto-denial before human contact — Even after a correct submission, I ended up getting denied without talking to anyone. Outcome: I didn’t move forward, and the takeaway was that the process felt like a strong filter rather than a conversation.
