I went through a classic structured flow at Ramp—recruiter, two coding challenges, then system design and behavioral—but I felt the coding “pop-quiz” didn’t reflect the real job.

Recruiter call — I started with recruiter screening.
Coding challenge — I did one coding assessment.
Another coding challenge — I completed a second coding assessment.
System design interview — I was evaluated on system design.
Behavioral interview — I finished with behavioral/cultural evaluation. Outcome: I didn’t pass the coding stage, and the takeaway was that the tested coding style felt disconnected from actual team work.
