Quantcast Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

HardUnited StatesPosted Apr 2014 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interview process kicked off with a coding problem followed by a technical phone interview.

After that, the onsite was the big block: I sat through a full set of technical rounds—five separate technical interviews—plus two HR interviews, all in the same overall onsite flow.

The topics were tough but stayed within the bounds of what I expected for serious software engineering assessments. I never felt it was impossible, just demanding and very thorough. I ended up not being selected, but the experience overall felt rigorous and designed to test depth rather than trick you on trivia.
