The entire process was remote, and I was referred through a friend.

I did a chat with the recruiter first, then a behavioral conversation with the hiring manager, then a coding question on HackerRank, and finally a system design question.

The system design interview was oddly low-touch: the interviewer didn’t turn on camera, and they said very little throughout. The recruiter had warned me they were slow deciding and that they would get back to me, but they never did. Eventually, I ended up without an offer, and that lack of closure made the whole process feel incomplete compared to how structured the earlier steps were.
