Pubmatic Software Engineer interview experience

I had a test that mixed multiple-choice questions with coding tasks—part of it covered OS concepts and logical reasoning, and there were also database-related questions. Once I submitted that, the next step was still tightly connected to my written work: I was asked to modify the programs I’d written, and the follow-up questions leaned into topics like databases and data structures such as linked lists.

By contrast, my phone-based start felt more “developer to architecture,” but the overall thread was similar: I talked through Java and multithreading, then moved into an engineering panel.
