I went through an on-site interview at a nuclear power plant, Hope Creek, and it was clearly a STAR-based process.

It took place in the LDC building with two panelists who were branch managers. The session started with an introduction about the position, then it immediately moved into the structured questioning.

The first question was to walk through my resume, and after that they asked a total of seven questions—three technical and four behavioral in STAR format. The STAR structure made the behavioral prompts feel very deliberate, like they expected me to present specific situations, actions, and results rather than broad reflections.
