I started the process because the job post said the role was fully remote.

The first call was pretty quick, and the first question they asked was how I felt about remote work. I answered honestly since remote roles were the only ones I applied to.

Right after that, they told me the position wasn’t actually fully remote and ended the call. It was abrupt, and it honestly felt like the remote framing didn’t match what they were planning to do.

No offer came out of it, and the main thing I carried away was that the mismatch between the listing and the reality of the process was the biggest surprise.
