My interview started with something very hands-on: the interviewer asked me to sell him a pen right there on the spot, then followed it up by asking me to talk through myself.

It was a real “show me” moment rather than purely conversational.

He was professional and friendly, and the exchange didn’t feel hostile or overly aggressive. The setting also stood out—there was a strong sense that the company had a nice facility and a structured environment. I left feeling like the process was geared toward people who already understood sales, since sales experience clearly mattered.

Overall it felt like a solid, respectful interview and I could tell they were assessing my ability to communicate and persuade quickly. I didn’t end up taking the job, but I walked away
