My interview process felt very standard at first.

I went through the usual steps, and communication seemed normal and on schedule.

What really stuck with me happened after the interview, though. The sales manager told me he would send over an offer and get me started after I answered two questions by email. I responded, expecting the follow-through, but I was rejected immediately.

Even though the difficulty was rated average, the emotional impact was harsher because the message implied an offer was coming. I didn’t receive it, and I left feeling thrown off by how quickly things turned once the email questions were completed.
