I went through a very lightweight screening that quickly turned into an insurance-licensing pitch, and it felt like the process was designed to move people into recruiting rather than traditional hiring.

Intro webinar / breakout sessions — I joined sessions introducing life insurance policy concepts; the structure felt informal and conversational.
Comp / recruiting framing — During the discussion, I was told about how they earn money per recruit they train, which set expectations for what really drives outcomes. Outcome: I didn’t report moving forward; the takeaway was that the interview was easy, but the incentives were clearly recruit-focused.
