I learned early that the Account Executive process was geared toward independent contractor-style recruitment and licensing, and that framing made the journey feel very easy.

Recruiter business-model explanation — An initial call or in-person meeting focused on how the business works rather than traditional job qualifications.
Recruitment and licensing-focused interview(s) — The next conversations centered more on recruitment and licensing than on standard role requirements. Outcome: I didn’t report an offer; the takeaway was that the process is straightforward, but it’s built around contractor and licensing mechanics.
