I interviewed for an Account Executive role after being approached at the company building, and the early conversation focused on extraordinary commissions and quick monetization with an upfront payment.

Walk-in conversation with a senior sales rep — I was approached, asked if I wanted a job, and immediately heard optimistic numbers about sales and deal outcomes.
Commission and success stories — they mentioned high earning per sale and shared promotional proof via photos/testimonials, including personal trips presented as bonuses.
Upfront cost requirement — they indicated I’d be asked to pay $100. Outcome: I didn’t proceed; the opportunity sounded tailored for lead-chasing and entrepreneurship, but the upfront payment and “fairy tale” framing didn’t feel grounded.
