My “interview” was essentially a scripted overview that included paying fees immediately and limited transparency about the real job.

Scripted overview + long presentation — I barely talked while they walked through Primerica; the process emphasized being taught the basics rather than assessing me.
Upfront payment during the interview — I was told I’d pay about $124 for a background check and a POL fee, with a note about checking the contract for possible refund.
Transparency gaps — I wasn’t given full details upfront, such as the requirement to sell to family, lack of base pay, and that clients weren’t provided. Outcome: I did not move forward; the early payment and missing job realities were major
