I started with a pretty light HR-style screen where the focus was on me introducing myself clearly and selling my story.

The interviewer asked why I was interested in sales, and I had to talk through how my college activities connected to convincing communication. There was also a lot of emphasis on negotiation skills and general communication rather than anything technical.

What surprised me was how much they stayed in the “how well can you present yourself” lane—education background, languages, and what I’d done in college—rather than deep diving into domain experience. Overall it felt straightforward and welcoming, and the process matched that energy from the start.
