Before I was even granted an initial interview, I was asked to complete a personality test and a filmed aptitude test that felt similar to the SAT.

I was uneasy almost immediately—honestly, it felt insulting—and I couldn’t shake the feeling after thinking about it more.

A few days later, I ended up canceling the interview. It wasn’t just about how I felt personally; it also seemed like it could turn into a minefield from a discrimination standpoint in how people are evaluated. That combination of discomfort and concern is what led me to step away.
