I’d applied online after meeting two people at a career fair, and a recruiting representative reached out by email.

The first step felt formal and pretty rigid: I had to complete a two-part questionnaire. One part was centered on personality, and the other focused on logic, math, and reasoning.

I didn’t make it past that stage. The overall process was straightforward, but it ended quickly and left me with a sense that it was mostly a gatekeeping screen rather than a chance to show more context about my background.
