PowerSchool Group Software Engineer interview experience

The process started with a coding test on a platform where I had to solve one medium-level question and answer one question based on an SQL query, plus five multiple-choice questions.

After that, I went through four technical interviews that focused heavily on data structures and algorithms and my analytical thinking, including puzzle-style questions. In the third and fourth interviews, the questions shifted more toward my projects. The experience felt genuinely challenging because it wasn’t just about coding—it tested how I think and how well I could connect my answers back to real work.
