I went through a Point72 analyst application process that emphasized case work, and it felt difficult because of how quickly I had to produce a substantial write-up.

Questionnaire — After applying, I completed a questionnaire, with about a one-week turnaround.
Case study (4 pages) — In parallel with the questionnaire timeline, I was assigned a four-page case study and had to complete it within roughly one week.
Fast-paced deliverables — The key challenge was managing the time pressure and producing a coherent case write-up on schedule. Outcome: I didn’t move forward, but the main takeaway was that the bar was largely about executing a detailed case deliverable quickly.
