I completed a case study and advanced to an initial recruiter round, but I was rejected immediately after a short conversation.

Application + case study — I applied online and completed the case study.
Recruiter round (15 minutes) — I made it to a brief first round with the recruiter.
Rejection — I was turned down after that initial screen.
Preparation advice — The experience made it clear to me that being ready with market news and a stock to pitch matters. Outcome: Rejected—the process ended right after the first recruiter check, suggesting readiness was crucial.
