Point72 Software Engineer interview experience

The interviewer tried to get me to stumble mid-question with curveball twists, but the questions themselves stayed in the “simple” category, and the overall vibe was normal and not overly hostile.

It ended up feeling like an interview designed to check whether I could keep my explanations clear even when the prompt shifted slightly. I don’t remember it as especially difficult, just a bit performative in the way the interviewer would steer the question while I was answering.
